SE Junior Rally (Sept)

This is our season opener for juniors teams. Age groups which are run are usually U12, U13 and U15.

Squad sizes are flexible to accommodate teams who may be building numbers at the beginning of the season. Teams should aim for 12 aside but if a team has less the opposition are asked to play less aside and use the rest of their players as subs.

The tournament is normally hosted at Caterham lax club, Old Caterhamians Sports Club, CR3 6AH.

SE Clubs and Colleges (Oct)
This is a long running tournament, having previously been East C&Cs and South C&Cs, it has been combined into South East since 2012. All clubs and universities are welcome to enter across the South East. The tournament runs as 2 divisions, Premiership and non-Premiership. Division 1 clubs can choose to play in either elements whilst Premiership teams can only enter their top element. Universities are welcome to enter either element and the South East will happily advise about level if required.

The venue and hosts of this tournament rotate around the clubs in the South East.

Jan Kiddle Adult Beginners Cup (Nov/Dec)
This is an adult beginners tournament which has been running since 2010. Players should have been playing 2 years or less. Teams can field player/coaches but they should be there to assist, guide and feed only.

Whilst we aim for 12 aside matches, each match it flexible in size. If a team only has 8 then the opposition will be asked to field only 8 against them but can use their subs still.

SE U15s & U18s Inter-County Tournament (Nov)
Each season counties (Surrey, Herts, Beds & Bucks, Kent and Greater London) select players from across schools and field U15 A & B, U18 A & B squads. Counties hold trials during September/October. Dates for these can be found in the fixtures calendar. Trialists must be nominated by a coach eg these are not open trials where girls/parents can self nominate. Schools and clubs across the region should nominate players to trials.

SE Indoor Tourn (Jan)
One of the favourite tournaments of the season this is a great way to kick start the second half of the season. All clubs and unis are welcome to enter. Hawksalways host this tournament although the venue may change.

Matches are 5 aside with squads of up to 8. Water water water is the key thing to remember for this!

SE Schools Finals & Festival Tourns (Feb)

All other schools can then enter the Festival element. If there is available space teams who have a 1st team in the Finals tournament can enter a second team into the Festival tournament.

Qualifying school numbers: GL x2, Herts x4, Surrey x4, Kent x 1, Bucks x1.
